Invisalign
Newwave Orthodontics is one of the first Platinum Providers of Invisalign in Queensland.
Invisalign is a virtually invisible and hygienic alternative to straightening your smile. Instead of brackets and wires, Invisalign uses custom moulded, removable aligners that slowly shift teeth to the desired position.
While traditional braces are fixed into position, Invisalign is removable. This means that you can take them out when you are eating and drinking.
It also means that you’ll need to brush your teeth after every time you eat. The upside of this is that you can maintain your optimal oral hygiene throughout your treatment.
Invisalign is gentle on your teeth and so it offers practically no interruption to your daily life.
Clear Braces
Want to straighten your teeth but don’t want obvious metal braces?
At Newwave Orthodontics we offer clear braces. Clear braces are a mixture of brackets and wires fixed to the front of your teeth. But they are less obvious than traditional metal braces.
Clear braces work a little like Invisalign as they apply gentle pressure your teeth and move them gradually into the correct position.
Depending on the severity of your oral condition, treatment time for clear braces can take between a couple of months to a couple of years.
Lingual or Invisible Braces
